On September 24th I was flying to San Francisco. I was going there a few days before the fair to shoot the video and enjoy the festivities to come with the weekend. I never before attended a Folsom Street Fair, and I was seriously looking forward to it. My part of the video production started on Wednesday. It should have been ready by Friday night. But I guess we got carried away with the shoot because, on Saturday I had to come over again and do my stills. That was fine with me. The work with Raging Stallion goes by easily, and in this case we were enjoying ourselves. Chris Ward is such a personable director - that makes it fun to shoot a real hardcore scene. And we did. Tom Vacarro is the nicest person of all. It was actually hot to suck his dick and having him play with my ass. To say the least... This video, that you won't want to miss, is called Assmasters and has a release date on November 28th, Thanksgiving day. No pun intended.

You will be able to get this video from my web site as soon as is available.

After that amazing time I had with the shoot, I was ready for the Fair (or maybe not). With my Dear holding arms walking on Folsom St., kind of entertained with so much... leather. I guess that's what it is, a big leather parade. But I couldn't find much of a heart there. All the things I was going to like the fair for I didn't. The sunshine burnt my skin, and some but not too many friendly faces... maybe I was just tired, but I have a weird feeling about the whole thing. The Folsom St. Fair didn't quite make a good impression on me. I was expecting better. But, then again I am the one who has to come to terms with it. It was my expectation anyway.
So now, that I've heard that the real fun is the Castro St. fair, which happens a week after Folsom, I have something to look for next year.
Isn't it fun? A new circuit party every week.
Well, so much for that. Now back to Saint Louis for 1 night and next day drive all the way to Chicago. 1 week at Madrigal's, the fun was just starting.

I've never danced there for a straight week before. Just 3 nights the week after IML this year, while I was doing the shoot for MSR, Closed Set, back in May. I could easily anticipate how it would be. I was ready for the good times. And they came. At Madrigal's pretty much everybody is a friend, including the usual drunks. I think in Chicago, overall, everybody is friendly. I like that! I always have a good time when I am there and this was no different. On Friday and Saturday night, when the place is packed, and people can get really in your way, even then it was easy .The shows at Madrigal's were a total success, people kept coming back for more and the response was great. Of course, we made a great team of dancers with much to offer for entertainment: Rico, Sebastian, Martin, and Shane. We put on a good show. Here some pix, so you have and idea.

On Saturday night went to a party at Circuit Mom's apartment. That was GREAT!!! I had the chance to meet Circuit Mom and Dad working on the Zenith party on Fire Island, and we became friends right away. On Sunday October 13th (Columbus day weekend) Circuit Mom had a party at Crobar, with NY D.J. Tony Moran, and the main show, a leather and lace extravaganza to the beats of "I don't want you" by Widelife.
THAT WAS INCREDIBLE! At some point in the show I got to be NAKED on stage for almost 10 seconds. From the audience reaction I could say they really liked it. But sorry, no pictures of that one.

Anyway, it was a long and profitable weekend, since I also got the job for headliner of the week at Man's Country (Have you ever been to Man's Country? Check it out. The place it's out of this world. I never thought I'd see a place like this, a major sleaze fest at Chicago's oldest gay bath house.)

So I was working Friday and Saturday nights at Man's Country and Sunday night at Crobar. Pretty good for an out of towner. And I got to see my friends Tony Moran and Beau Clark, and dance the night away... that was fun.

Best friend Scott, from Bordeline record store, had a ticket for the premiere of Swept Away and invited me to come along, but due to previous engagements I had to make my way down to St. Louis. Sorry Scott, but thanks anyway... I just recently saw the movie and was impressed that I actually liked it.

How is that for a week in the windy city? And I had the best time.

I will be back there in January to dance at Madrigal's again and maybe another big party with Circuit Mom.

If I only was so lucky.

We'll see.

Bye for now.
