It’s been 2 years now that my website has been opened,
and it seems like forever and a day has gone by and, after
all this time, I can tell you that it still makes me happy
doing this. And, even though sometimes it feels like it will
never come to and end (and hopefully it won’t), I have
learned to appreciate it and love the motivation it gives
me to keep going and to strive every day and never let go
of my original dream…my own, personal site in which
I get to tell you what I love doing and why. So here it is,
still my best shot… and thanks for keep coming back
and continue to support me and my work, which by the way,
it’s been a lot in the last couple of months.
 |

To begin with:
Last time I was telling you about my work with Hot
House and how wonderful it went. Well,
it’s only gotten better. I worked with Hot
House once again in April. We shot this second
video at the same location where we shot the first one,
a bar called “The
Loading Dock”, but with a totally
different feel and look. As usual, the Hot House videos
have that great quality and professional finishing that
one has come to expect from them, and why shouldn’t
we? Steven Scarborough
has been in the business for a very long time, and I’ve
come to find out that he got started with Falcon
back in the days when Chuck Holmes
was the first and rightful owner, so he (Scarborough)
learned from one of the best in the business. Soon after
he started working there he became head of the company
putting it on top of all the production companies for
a very long time and he gave many alented people a chance
to get started in the business, most of which have become
very successful in the last 20 years. Names like John
Rutherford, Chi Chi La
Rue and Bruce Cam,
just to name a few.
|
So what can you expect from him but a great level
of excellence? He has surrounded himself with the most
compatible, talented and NICE group
of professionals and that shows on the final product
they put out and, most importantly, for us performers,
on the set, where everybody is always so tense and at
each other’s throats; with them is not like that
at all. They really want to be there and do the job,
and you are appreciated as a performer. That helps especially
when they need you to go that extra mile to make a scene
go from good to PERFECT.
This time around we worked on a scene that was supposed
to be on the “Manhunt,
the Video”; making reference to
that great sex search engine Manhunt.net (which I have
to say, I am a member of). My scene was with John
Galt and Troy Punk
and, of course, is very hot
and the sex is great. But I just recently
found out that this scene didn’t make it to the
final cut of the video, postponing its release for later
this year.
I will keep you informed when will this scene be released
and for what video.

So, being happy with my work, they asked me to join them
for the IML promotion at the Leather
market. More than happy I accepted Hot House’s
invitation to be in their booth and meet and greet the visitors,
and of course, to sell videos. They also had the best and
largest selection of models: Tag Adams,
Kent Larson, Alex
Collack, Dick Wolf, and
many others. As I said before, one of the best things about
working with Hot House is that
they really make an effort to put together a great group of
people to work with, which makes it a much better and enjoyable
experience. These were 4 long days of work at the Leather
market, followed by several other events afterwards, of which
I will talk about here in more detail.
- A special appearance of all the Hot House
models at Sound Bar:
A very fancy and slick new club in Chicago
that was having its very first gay night on Sunday May 30th.
Here we just Go Go danced and had fun. We also gave away
some DVD’s and promos. It was particularly fun because
it was the only night we had out and about in Chicago that
week, and since I wasn’t working this year for Jumpstart
Productions (the company that puts together some of the
bigger parties during IML and of which I had been part of
for the last couple of years, like the infamous Pornopalooza,
Leather Rites and the main event at the House of Blues)
it was our share of dance club appearances and dancing.
- Gay Chicago’s Grabby
Award Ceremony: The award ceremony
for the best of porn of the year, the same one that selected
me as the “Best Performer of the Year”
in their 2002 edition. This time the event was
held at a much bigger and nicer venue and it has become,
without a doubt, the most important award ceremony of its
kind in the business. This year’s winner was Chad
Hunt, who went home with 3 or 4 awards and, you guess
it: “Hot House”
with several awards for many of the videos made during 2003.
Chi Chi La Rue hosted, (well
recovered now from last March’s heart problem that
almost stopped her from presenting the GayVN’s award
ceremony), along with Honey West,
Michael Brandon and Brett
Wolf.
Also, trophy boys Kent Larson, Tag
Adams, Brandon Baker and Anthony Holloway looked
very sexy as their clothes were coming off
as the event progressed. Hey, it is porn after all!!!
Another highlight was the absence of Michael
Lucas, who only snatched 1 nomination for best director;
this was for the best I must say. Most of the people in
the business are very well aware of what kind of person
he is (should I go in detail?) and we remember last year’s
lousy speech and we didn’t want to hear it again.
Thank you!
And Mister Billy Masters, who
came onstage wearing a wedding
dress, and he looked lovely; so lovely that
I had to have my picture taken with him. Look.
Final Word:
I just want to add here that I’ve finally figured out
what I like so much about IML and why I think
it’s such a great thing. IML is an event that brings
the community together with a very specific purpose, to select
the person that will represent the leather community
at an international level. This has spawned all kind
of events including dance parties and many other ways to celebrate
it. Unlike any other event of its kind, is not just about
the parties and the drugs and all that, which I have to say,
doesn’t help us very much as a community. And at moments
like this, when most of the gay events we celebrate are just
about looking good, hooking up and doing drugs, this one (IML)
has a much more legitimate reason to be and I believe that
to be very important right now, that there is so much
going on about gay rights in politics.
I am a great supporter of it, in case you haven’t
noticed. I just wanted to let you know.
So there you have it, IML and Grabby Awards report. Very
fun, very intense and my best IML experience to date. Looking
forward to next year’s event, I’ll be there!!!

Then, after all that craziness in Chicago
I went home on Tuesday morning
and hardly left home for 4 days. For some reason I was still
very tired and needed to charge my batteries.
On Friday June 4th I went to Miami
for the Gay Erotic Expo invited
by Tom Weise from Rentboy.com.
Of course the Expo itself was the last thing I saw while I
was there. Tom had prepared a full weekend of events for us
to represent Rentboy. Starting on that same Friday night we
went to The Boardwalk in Ft.
Lauderdale. There 2 of the guys that were with us did
their show, you know, a full dance routine
ending up in a G-string with a big hard on,
but if you ever been to the Boardwalk you know that there
are always much more dancers than customers there, so there
is very little money to be made.

Then after that we went to the “Jackhammer”.
This was more my kind of place, not as bright
and loud. There is where I performed. I just go go danced
for a few minutes collecting tips. Everybody was really friendly
and the manager turned out to be a real “fan”
so we had our picture taken and he told me how much he likes
my videos, etc. It was also nice to find out that Tom
Vacarro, whom I had worked with for the Raging
Stallion videos, works there as a bartender. Of course
he was super nice
as usual, and super HOT.
I love running into guys like him!!!

Then on Saturday, we were supposed to go to the Expo
and meet and greet, that was the actual reason were there
for, but Tom called me and said there was hardly any people
there and I shouldn’t bother to come. So I didn’t.
I took a long walk on Collins Avenue
instead and then went to Ocean Drive
and had dinner with Steven Richards
and Enrique Velazco in a great
Venezuelan restaurant, now they
have several of them in Miami, and I couldn’t be happier
about that. After dinner we went to the hotel and got ready
for our big night at Score. I
had never performed there before and I was kind of happy to
finally do that.
Again, I just danced there for a few minutes on the stage
to open the show. Then, 2 of the guys did a solo dance, then
the drag queen performed (her name is Asia,
I believe) some kind of “Master and Servant” number,
and then Enrique Velazco, Steve Richards,
other local dancer and I did a special erotic
show, but we didn’t get too nasty because the
club owner asked us not to.
After the show we called it a night and headed to the hotel
room to get some rest.

The next day was the last day of the Expo
and we had to be there, at least for a little while. So, after
we had a wonderful brunch on Washington
Drive, we got ready and headed to the convention center
of Miami and made our appearance. Like the day before there
wasn’t many people there. Somebody said because it happened
at the same time as Gay Days in Orlando.
That might have been the reason, and it’s hard to imagine
that any of the vendors made any money there, because it was
literally empty, but whatever, we signed autographs, greeted
the fans, and, the most exciting thing of all, we started
our own photoshoot with local photographer
Guido and yes, we did
get carried away this time and after a few minutes
we were told to stop, because no
nudity was allowed at the Convention Center…oops!!!
It was kind of fun anyway. Here are some pix from that last
day, including the censored photoshoot.
Then, that same evening, I flew back to NY
and rested for a few days. I really needed a break after all
that hoopla so I stayed home and slept for what it seemed
like an eternity, as a matter of fact, it was closer to 2
weeks…damn, that was a long time!
Afterward, as it was planned, I went to California
again. This time I went to San Luis
Obispo, where the new Hot House
shoot was taking place. Let me tell you all about it.

Hot House:
it’s coming back in a big way. They are shooting almost
every month and the videos are selling like hot potatoes,
and I couldn’t be any happier about that. As I said
before, working with them is
the ultimate experience in porn. The size
of this production was huge; it probably will be the biggest
movie of the year. It’s the second part
of the 1996 video “The Road Home”
and the cast include Kent Larson,
Tag Adams, Alex
LeMonde, Arpad Miklos,
Corbin Michael, Marcus
Allen, Marco Paris and
many others.
The whole production team was there on a wonderful
ranch in the middle of nowhere and all the scenes
were shot outdoors. Pretty cool and I can only imagine how
hot this video will be.
As a personal note, I would like to say that I was really
happy that my very good friend Chris
Green was there working on the production team. I met
Chris last year at the Military Ball
the last day of IML 2003, event
of which I talked on these pages before (see: news
from May 2003) and we have become really good
friends in the last year. So it was very nice to be working
and hanging out with him. That made it a very special
shoot for me. My scene was with Josh
Kole and it was quite an experience. This guy is totally
hot and very well hung, and he knows how to fuck. The
scene also included a really big
red dildo which he put almost all the way
up my ass…ouch!!! It was great. I don’t know if
this video will be released this year because, as I said,
they have been filming a lot, but I do know that it will be
very HOT.
I will keep you posted on the release date for this one
too.
Here are some pix with Chris Green
on one of the sets. Aren’t they great?
After the shoot in San Luis Obispo,
which finished on June 24th, Hot House
had a promotion at the “Rock Hard”
store on Castro St. in San Francisco.
They asked me to be there and once again, meet the fans and
sign pictures, etc. This was the day before Gay
Pride and as you can imagine, Castro gets
really mobbed. Kent Larson, Tag Adams,
Diego De La Hoya and I were there to welcome our fans
for 4 hours, and there were plenty of them. Right after the
event was over Jimmy (the talent
coordinator), took me to the airport to catch a flight to
come back to NY to be at the
Gay Pride Parade on the Rentboy.com
float. The parade seemed to be the longest to date, and it
was a lot of fun too. There were like 18 models and
escorts on the float and we were dancing our asses
off. It was great. I haven’t done the Parade in NYC
for 3 years, so it was nice to come back to it. The highlight
of the Parade for me (and I am sure that for many
others too) was RuPaul on his
own float. Ru is making a much anticipated comeback with a
new CD “Red Hot”.
I haven’t heard it yet but the reviews are fierce. We
had some time to catch up with each other. I used to see Rupaul
all the time when I was doing my internship at WKTU,
the radio station that had RuPaul’s show in the morning
and we used to talk and gossip a bit, but I haven’t
seen him for years, so it was great to see him. We also had
time to snap some shots. Take a look.

After the Parade I was more than tired and even though there

and just rest. I had to. I couldn’t have done anything
else. But it was all worth it.
So that was a great way to start the summer, don’t
you think?
I will have some more for you soon, until then, enjoy your
time and be good, because I most certainly won’t be.
Hehehe…
